CHAP

Last Thursday I took the boys down to CHAP (Children's Healing Art Project). This place was amazing. Essentially it is a huge warehouse with ALL kinds of donated goods and art supplies. There was an old bathtub, a mattress, tons of clothes and rugs, a plastic driving car. The kids could use whatever supplies and do whatever they wanted. Such a little kid's dream to paint the table and the floor! Boston had a great time going back and forth from painting and using glitter glue and then he would just play with the furniture. And double lucky for us, it is blocks from my auntie Vicky's loft, better known as Dee Dee. Here are a few pictures I got of our day.

Boston is using the glitter glue and making a door for the castle, complete with pipe cleaners
More door work, we had to use nearly ALL the glitter glue. Check out the double fists squeeze
Cooper didn't dig into the paint but he loved to sit on the floor, bang on the projects and feel apart. There was so much at his level and I made him a little handle toy to bring home :)
More Cooper talking and waiting for Boston to come out of the house
The front door entry

Boston painting the castle
Isn't this GREAT?!?
A HUGE felt banner that Cooper loved to sit and pick at. It stretched all the way to the floor so he could feel the shapes.

My favorite picture first :)

And this is what we call "the choke hold".....

We had a happy Halloween! We went to our good friends' the Larsson's for chili, apples, cheesy bread. Then we packed up our little bundles for trick or treating in their neighborhood. The weather was perfect, NOT raining, and not too cod.

Makenna and Boston are "good friends" to say the least. Just last week Boston dropped ALL his library books in the middle of the children's library and slow motioned ran with arms open to hug Makenna. It was the full on movie scene, "I missed you so much. Oh, how I love you." So over the top and funny! Anyways, whenever I ask Boston, "How was Makenna? Did you guys have fun?" Boston says, "Yeah a lot, but she hugs tight!"

Pumpkin Patch

Some days are just good days. And isn't that great? We have enough bad ones or hard ones and it such a blessing when something works out. Saturday the 4 of us set out for the pumpkin patch. I was almost sure that it would either down pour or one of the boys would be tired, hungry, have to go potty, or already went potty! Anyways, the weather was PERFECT and I mean perfect. We had such a good time. And literally while we were on the hay ride, I thought to myself, "It really doesn't get any better."

OMSI

A few weeks ago I packed the boys up and we spent the day at OMSI. We had a great time. Much to my surprise Boston liked all the big kid exhibits. He is definitely growing up on me. I was limited on space so I only had my phone for pictures, which aren't the best :( But the good news is we also went to the pumpkin patch this weekend and I got some awesome ones. Ben was there to help.

More fun pictures coming soon!

Cooper's Party

Here are a few photos from my baby's first party. He is such a little gem and ham :)

My auntie Vicky made Cooper a Halloween costume. He is a wizard. Cooper is wearing the hat and vest here.
Boston loved the kazoos!
We KNOW how to take care of a cupcake!

Fall

This summer I have been compiling a list of things I wanted to get done this fall. Some totally random like get some dark nail polish, and but most things are outings I want to do with the boys. I know my years home with the boys are numbered and I want to take advantage of us being able to pack up for a day trip or morning out. We have already tackled a few and I am looking forward to the Children's Museum, McDonalds with my Nana, OMSI, and so on. Below is a funny picture of Cooper this week at the Play Boutique in Lake Oswego. It is an indoor play area that is just up the street and I always wanted to try it out. Cooper loved this rocker and I spent most of the morning wheeling the boys around the gym in a wagon. It was fun!
